Privacy

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Scrapyard Showdownis a free social game, and we keep things deliberately light when it comes to your information. This notice explains what we do and don't collect.

The short version

  • We don't ask you to create an account or log in.
  • We don't collect or process any payment or financial information — there are no payments on this site.
  • We store a little information in your own browser to make the game work.
  • If you email us, we only use what you send to reply.

Information stored in your browser

To run the game, we keep a small amount of data locally on your device using your browser's storage. This stays on your device and includes:

  • your confirmation that you are 18 or over;
  • your choice on our storage notice;
  • your game preferences, such as whether sound is on or off.

This information isn't a sign-in and doesn't identify you personally. You can clear it at any time — see our Cookies & Storage notice for how.

If you contact us

When you use the contact form, your message opens in your own email app and is sent directly to us. We use the details you provide — such as your name, email and message — solely to respond to your enquiry. We don't use them for marketing and we don't sell them.

Analytics and advertising

We don't run advertising cookies, and we don't operate third-party analytics or tracking on this site. If that ever changes, we'll update this notice and our storage notice first.

Children

This site is for adults aged 18 and over and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't hold an account or profile for you, the simplest way to remove the information on your device is to clear this site's local data or your browser data. If you've emailed us and would like us to delete that correspondence, just ask.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version will always live on this page.
