The mechanics
How the yard runs
Scrapyard Showdown is an easy game to pick up. Here's everything that happens behind the lever — all played for fun with virtual points.
The basics
The game runs on five reels and three rows — a grid of fifteen symbols every spin. Wins are read across ten fixed paylines that weave through the grid. To win points on a line, you need three or more matching salvage symbols, starting from the leftmost reel and running to the right.
The special salvage
The Crusher — Wild
The Crusher steps in for any standard yard symbol to help complete a line. It won't replace the Crane Magnet or the Grand Heap, though — those two play by their own rules.
The Crane Magnet — Free Spins
Land three or more Crane Magnets anywhere on a payline and the yard grants you a run of free spins, which play out automatically at your current stake.
The Grand Heap — Top Result
The Grand Heap is the rarest piece in the yard. Five of them along a single payline tips the biggest scrap pile — the headline result on the reels.
The paytable
Each standard symbol pays a point multiplier on your stake when three, four or five land in a row on a line. Here's the full run-down.
Hex Nut

The ten paylines
Each line is a path of row positions across the five reels. These are the ten the game checks on every spin.
Free to play, and that's the whole deal
Scrapyard Showdown is a free social game for a bit of fun. You play with virtual points that hold no real-world value — there's no real-money play, no deposits or withdrawals, no purchases, and nothing to win or cash out. It's entertainment only, for players aged 18 and over.
