A hand when you need it

Most things in the yard are pretty straightforward, but if something's not behaving, here's where to start.

Getting started

Head to the Playpage, pick a stake with the − and + buttons, and hit Spin. There's no sign-up and nothing to install — it runs right in your browser.

The game won't load

Try a refresh first. If it's still stuck, make sure your browser is up to date and that JavaScript is enabled. Clearing this site's local data (below) and reloading often sorts out odd behaviour.

I've run out of points

No drama — points are only virtual. When you're low, a free top-up button appears in the game so you can refill and keep spinning at no cost.

Turning sound on or off

Use the speaker button in the game controls to mute or unmute the clinks and chimes. Your choice is remembered in your browser for next time.

Is any of this real money?

No. Scrapyard Showdown is free to play with virtual points only. There are no deposits, no purchases and nothing to win or cash out — see our FAQ for more.

We keep a little information in your browser. You can wipe all of it instantly with the button below, then reload to start fresh.
